Every year we bring to the IPNC a keynote speaker who can give guests a new perspective on Pinot noir. We are delighted to announce that this year's keynote speaker will be Kyle MacLachlan. Kyle started Pursued by Bear wine and is best known for his appearances on hit movies and TV shows Dune, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Sex & the City, Desperate Housewives, and Portlandia.

 

Study Abroad in Burgundy with Allen Meadows

Allen Meadows, whose encyclopedic knowledge of Burgundy is unsurpassed, will lead you on a tour through the vineyards of Chambolle-Musigny, Echézeaux, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, and Vougeot. Taste examples and hear from winemakers Bertrand Ambroise of Maison Ambroise, Grégoire Gouges of Domaine Henri Gouges, Jacques Lardière of Maison Louis Jadot, and Philippe & Vincent Lecheneaut of Domaine Lecheneaut. These four outstanding winemakers are bringing some true gems from their cellars to help you experience the charm of each village. Allen’s thoughtful and considered approach to tasting will heighten and enrich your enjoyment of Burgundy for years to come.

Full Weekend: Guests arrive on Friday morning and have full access to events through Sunday at noon. The full weekend is filled with informational seminars, wine tastings, extravagent meals, a vineyard and winery tour, the Salmon Bake, and so much more. Full details on the complete wine weekend continue to be released on our web site and Seasonal Posts. Watch for some big announcements and surprises in the coming weeks. This is the ultimate Pinot noir experience!

Salmon Bake: This is the only a la carte ticket option for guests that want to attend just part of the full weekend event. Held on Saturday night, the Salmon Bake is a seated outdoor meal featuring fire roasted salmon and Pinots from around the world. A la carte Salmon Bake tickets are now SOLD OUT, and the remainder of the spaces are reserved for our full weekend guests.

Sunday Walkabout: After full weekend guests head home at noon on Sunday, a new group of 500 guests come to campus for a relaxed outdoor walkaround tasting. Formerly known as Passport to Pinot, this tasting features Pinot noir from all of our 70+ featured wineries. While full weekend guests have already had the chance to taste all of these wines on Friday and Saturday, this event provides a new set of pinot lovers a glimpse at these wonderful wines from around the world. Also present are 15 local restaurants preparing delicious bites to pair with your pinot.
